Your Brand's Atmosphere
Every brand has its own atmosphere, the feeling one gets upon experiencing said brand. How dense the particles (identifiable brand elements) in the atmosphere are, decides if the brand will be remembered or not. The fewer particles in the atmosphere, the less a person will notice it exists.
My goal is to pack brand atmospheres densely, with as many good particles as possible so that customers will remember indefinitely, the experience they had. I accomplish this through deep exploration of the brand’s goals, history, and user needs, making connections along the way that create a meaningful and unique solution for the brand. This solution will be generated in collaboration with the business, becoming a cooperative effort that results in an objectively appropriate and effective strategy to move forward with.
Once the strategy has been defined I can begin creating the deliverables, “particulate”, that we defined previously. I will use reference material, extensive knowledge of design history, and tireless iteration to visually define the brand through type, symbolism, patterns, illustration, color, and any other particles that will add to the brand’s atmosphere.
Let’s begin filling your brand’s aerospace.
Logos/Logo Systems
The logo is the face of a brand, compressing the most meaning into the simplest form. It is the most recognizable element that, with certainty, describes and represents the brand. The logo is expensive to put into the world, and once it is there customers immediately begin building a relationship with it, changing it isn’t an option. It must be done strategically and correctly the first time, expressing the meaning and value of the brand. The first step in designing a brand identity is the logo, with everything else building off of it and orbiting around it. Through tireless research, iteration, and strategy I create logos that not only accompany the brands they represent, but accentuate the best parts of them.
Brand Guidelines
Brand guidelines keep anyone who presents the brand visually, informed on how to maintain consistency and display brand elements correctly. Logo specifications and guidelines for typography, color, iconography, image style, and more comprise this deliverable included with every identity I design.
Collateral
A basic collateral package is included with every identity to substantiate the brand and create a tangible example of the identity. The collateral also creates an initial opportunity to test out fonts and color for the identity.
Graphic
Design
I may not have designed the identity, but I can design for it. From brochures to t-shirts and everything in between, if there is a project that needs visual communication I can help.
FAQ
What is brand identity design?
Brands occupy many different forms of media and their customers need to be able to recognize them across them all. In a brand identity: logos, colors, type, shapes, and many other visual elements work together to give the viewer a unique experience that they will remember from that brand. As consumers see the brand more online, driving down the street, or walking through the store, they will remember it, and its values, and be more likely to spend money on it.
